Hi, I'm a Magic: The Gathering player from the Netherlands. I built Altrift because I kept running into the same problem. I'd have a list, I'd want to upgrade it with nicer card art, and there was no easy way to see all the versions of each card at once.
Scryfall is fantastic for looking up individual cards, but browsing alternate art across a whole decklist meant opening dozens of tabs, cross-referencing set lists, and losing track of half the options. I wanted something that took a full list and showed me everything, side by side, instantly.
So I built it. Altrift is a side project, something I made for myself that I figured others might find useful too. It isn't a startup or a subscription business. It's just a tool that tries to stay out of the way and help you find the art you're actually looking for.
